Description of Disability:

An accident, also known as an unintentional injury, is an undesirable, incidental and unplanned event that could have been prevented had circumstances leading up to the accident been recognized, and acted upon, prior to its occurrence.

Treatment:

Using microsurgical techniques, the ear is reattached in layers, making sure that the neurovascular connections are reanastomosed properly.

Post operative care: 

Rest, elevation and change of dressings every fourth day and suture removal at a week.
